Confidentiality

Our first and primary concern is the confidentiality of your business during the sales cycle. The knowledge of your business for sale by your employees, competitors, customers or suppliers could be significantly damaging. We have used a very successful strategy to protect your confidentiality. We never disclose the name or location of your business on the telephone. Most brokers do. We will not work with a buyer until they have been qualified and have signed a non-disclosure and confidentiality agreement. We also ask for a copy of their driver’s license to verify their identity. Most brokers don’t do this. We never send buyers out to your business unescorted. Most brokers do. We accommodate your needs with after hours meetings if necessary. Most brokers won’t. We evaluate your business, help you prepare your business for sale, discuss pricing, preparations, and design a marketing plan and package, market your business, interview prospective buyers, negotiate the sale, and do everything necessary for a smooth sale. We provide all of these services with no fee at all unless a buyer is found at the price and terms you agree upon. Then we charge a success fee at closing. If we don’t sell your business, our services have been free to you.

We know capable, qualified escrow attorneys that safely and confidentially handle the details of the closing for you for a very reasonable fee.
